Here at OTR Solutions, our Diversity in Logistics (DIL) organization is dedicated to supporting and empowering underrepresented employees, clients, and industry partners. We love building relationships with our clients, learning about their passion projects, and being able to offer support above and beyond their trucking business. With that, we are excited to announce our first DIL Client Sponsorship initiative!

We are awarding $5,000 to an eligible client for a community service project of their choice!

Whether it’s supporting a child’s sports team, school fundraiser, family business, or other community service activity, we want to help! This initiative will allow us to empower our underrepresented clients to make a positive impact in their community.

Applications for the 2024 DIL Client Sponsorship are open from June 3, 2024 to June 21, 2024.

Eligibility Requirements


  • Self-identify as a member of at least one of the following underserved groups:
    • American Indian or Alaska Native
    • Asian
    • Black or African American
    • Hispanic or Latino
    • Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander
    • LGBTQIA+ (of any race or ethnicity)
    • Disabled or developmentally disabled
  • Be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident
  • Be a current OTR Solutions client in good standing

Selection Criteria:


  • Impact on community
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances
  • Demonstration of financial need


Winner will be selected via vote by our internal DIL Committee. Additionally, the winner will be asked to collaborate with our internal marketing team to showcase the community service project or activity. This may include photos, videos, and social media posts. 

What is diversity in logistics?

Diversity in Logistics (DIL) is one of several inclusion programs here at OTR Solutions. DIL is a resource group that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion within our workforce, clients, and industry partners.

Founded in 2018, DIL has brought employees together through several internal initiatives and events, including networking events, internal educational spotlights, client outreach and our mentorship program. The mentorship program pairs new hires with our veteran employees to accelerate the professional development of underrepresented employees. This is achieved by providing mentees with guidance, advice, and feedback from mentors with more experience than themselves.

DIL supports the surrounding community through volunteer efforts and various community outreach opportunities. We have supported various diversity focused initiatives, including client non-profit organizations and local businesses owned or operated by underrepresented groups.
